We've got a new friend you should know about, Bernadette Pasley. Here's why: She's started a company called Backdoor Slider Media. So what in the name of Ken Hill is Backdoor Slider Media?

Backdoor Slider Media, Inc. is an online publishing company dedicated to producing quality blogs and related websites. Started in 2007 by Bernadette Pasley, the company’s publications are:

Out Of Write Field, an MLB news aggregator and blogger community

Lady At The Bat, a baseball blog

The Glamorous Bee, a beauty and fashion blog

Take note that Bernadette is a girl. Sorry, woman. She's a lady. L-A-D-Y. And guess what? Chicks don't just dig the long ball, they dig baseball. Uh huh. That's right. Feminine Girlfriend Bernadette Pasley is into the game and she's using her love of it to forge an identity for herself in the blogosphere.

But wait. There's more.

While she runs three blogs, she also runs a radio show called "A Show Of Their Own." Know why it's called that? I can answer that without her telling me. Remember the movie "A League Of Their Own"?

I remember it too.
