Jimmy Scott's Street Team Functions
STREET TEAM FUNCTIONS
Each street team will have the following duties:
• Spread the word about the site through their own email contacts and Instant Messaging
• Spread the word on Facebook/MySpace and other social networking sites.
• Website Participation: Go onto the Jimmy Scott’s High & Tight website minimum once a week to read blogs, listen to podcasts, create and participate in forum topics, watch video and click through (eventually) to sponsors.
• Press/Media: Tell you local papers at home/school about your participation in the site and ask them to report on what you’re doing and interview you and me. I shun the media, unless they help to promote stuff dear to me, like this fascinating website.
• Extras: Make your own flyers and hand out/put under windshield wipers at MLB, minor league and independent league games, other sporting events, commuter park ‘n’ rides, etc.
• Report back to team leaders with logs of weekly outreach and response.
