Jimmy Scott's High & Tight: The David Page (Boston Red Sox Strength & Conditioning Coach) Interview

David Page, who I call Dave, is the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Boston Red Sox.  What does an S&C coach do?  In Dave Page's interview on Jimmy Scott's High & Tight, you'll hear for yourself.  Dave was gracious enough to take some time and speak about his in-season and off-season duties.  He travels, he trains, he educates himself, and he lives a very simlilar life to the guys on the Red Sox, be they David Ortiz, Tim Wakefield or Dustin Pedroia.  Now, his lifestyle is very different (Dave doesn't get multi-year, multi-million dollar contracts), but his effort and time is on par with the guys who throw the squiggly balls and try to hit them.

Dave shares insight and information that will certainly surprise you, from his beginnings to the length of S&C coach careers, from dealing with the personal trainers of the players to communicating effectively with each one of them.  And, at the end of our interview, I bestow upon him a very significant gift.

So pull a Nutri Grain Bar out of your cabinet, squeeze your butt muscles, and listen close to David Page, Strength & Conditioning Coach for your Boston Red Sox.  You'll be glad you did.
