Jimmy's NY Vets Team Management

Joan Delaney – A very public person, lead member of new Aire ownership group and perfect fit for the league, which needed a female or minority-led group to buy the team for PR purposes.

• A former one-term Congresswoman from Westchester, former environmental attorney known for winning class action lawsuits, and large contributor to political campaigns.
• Needs the others in her group, some of whom have a sports management background and one who is a locally-based rap star celebrity.
• Has had public problems with her husband in the past. (That’s why she only served one term in Congress – she left “to spend more time with my family,” another way of saying, “My husband was going to be indicted.”)

Joan's Ownership Group – A gaggle of minority investors, including a rap star who thinks his 2% share in the team means he gets more perks than he deserves.

Alvin Kirby – The team’s first black General Manager, Alvin is suspended by the team in spring training for breaking & entering and sexual assault by a woman after he ended their 5-year affair.

Nick Curtis – Alvin’s Assistant GM whose ultimate goal is Alvin’s job, or really any GM job in the country. He’s not picky.

Ron White – Another Assistant GM, also African-American like Alvin, who thought he would get preferential treatment because of this. This was not the case, and after Alvin’s brief suspension, runs into a power struggle with Nick.

Ted Feldman – VP of Public Relations who never gets to sleep, never gets home and tries to put out fires before they are lit.

Carl Colman - The Geek, a fantasy baseball fan obsessed with statistics who gets a job with the team as its Sabermetrics Expert.
