The Dan Duquette Interview

Big fish.  If you spend your days on a boat in stormy seas searching for the biggest catch (not the deadliest, I'm a wimp when it comes to potentially dying for a living), then you better get it.  I got one recently, Dan Duquette, former GM of the now defunct Montreal Expos and very thriving Boston Red Sox.  We speak of everything from his time in player development with Milwaukee to trading for Pedro Martinez (twice) to starring in a local production of "Damn Yankees!"  (pardon my French).  Oh, we also talk about what "Duquette" means, which is French, so don't pardon me here.  It's good stuff.  Listen hard.  And go to the website for his Massachusetts academy, Dan Duquette Sports Academy, where he's teaching youth baseball to youths.

Also, I tried something different with this interview.  If you've heard the others, you may have noticed a certain lack of, uh, personal growth.  That has been stunted.  I'm growing now.  There's more music here.  There's a better production quality.  There's me, after it's all over, talking directly to you about my performance and what I should or should not have asked my pal Dan about during our interview.  And there's a general feeling of love after I finally sign off and the last chords of guitar solo fade away.  Enjoy this interview.  Dan and I had fun making it.  We hope you have fun hearing it.
