Hal Lanier is a HUGE part of baseball history, if only because he was NL Manager of the Year in 1986 and managed the Houston Astros during one of the most famous post-season games, Game 6 of the 1986 NLCS which went 16 innings, the last 7 of back-and-forth scoring until the Mets ultimately prevailed.
Hal is also the manager of the Sussex Skyhawks of the Can-AM League; this being his 12th year in independent baseball. Hal speaks about coaching and managing at the Major League level, being the son of a former MLB player, and much more. If you don't listen to this interview, pardon me, but you're stupid.
